Change of line angle for the win !
Late last autumn John was fishing a tricky midlands pit that had some gems residing inside. With family life and a busy work schedule, he only had one night a week at his disposal. He chose to target an area and feed it with plenty of shrimpy love with Ssd pop ups from Trent Baits over the top. He knew the carp were feeding but couldn’t buy a bite. On his very last night of the year as the lake was quiet, he decided to fish the same spot but from a different peg to change the angle of the line. The next morning one of the lakes finest came for a cuddle. All 41lb of her.
Line lay is such controversial subject but one we feel doesn’t get enough thought generally…
